꼭 필요한 기능만 심플하게 잘 만든 앱

please make more intuitive... by BenjaminHartin 2017-02-22

If all your controls for the app are going to be in icon form around the edges of the screen, then please at least tell me what they are when my mouse hovers over them so I know what each one is. They are not all universal enough of symbols that I understood each without this other key feature (a word, or words, describing each icon when my mouse hovers over). Also, when in “share” mode, I “save to disk” and then I have to hit “cancel” to get out of that process… shouldn’t that windo dissapear when I’m done saving to disk? Or at least shouldn’t there be a button that says “done” instead of the only button being one that says “cancel” that leads me to believe that whatever I just recorded is in jepardy of being deleted if I hit the “cancel” button? Ugh. I uploaded the recordings to my dropbox so I could hit “cancel” without fear of something happening to my files. Recording apps need to be treated as if they are going to be used for EXTREMELY important events. Mine, I use mostly for work interviews… I’ll be getting something else and toying with that for a while… there are some speed up and slow down features I like in this app… not quite sure what they are for (transcription?)… Just give us some explanation… a 3 minute video to watch before we use… SOMETHING. Please. Oh, yeah… $8.99? Really? Fix these issues and I’ll believe it’s approaching that pricetag. You have to earn your price. At present it’s worth being a free app without ads. One where you have to be like “I’d complain, but it’s free and isn’t full of ads…”

Looks useful, not sure how it actually works. - Don’t Buy! by sjmvideo61 2017-01-07

I got this at a discount a while back. Just attempted to use it today because I actually had a need. But there are no instructions in the app, no help file, and no link to web site with info. I have no idea if the notes I am making and the markers I am inserting are actually being recorded. There is nothing intuitive, and tool tips only tell you what the button does, not how to use it. I ended up back at the app store looking for a support link. Unfortuanely the support link just brings you back to the app store.Fortunately this is a non critical application, so it mkes a good test case. Lots of potential, but I wouldn’t spend any money on this. Upon completion of today’s recording, if I have any update, I will change this. UPDATE: After using it for my meeting; other than no instrucitons on how to use this program, the most annoyoing thing at the moment is that real time markers added during recording loose their marker names. At least the markers themselves are kept so I can go back to listen and hopefully recall the name. I haven’t had time to play with it any more to figure out how to use it. It looks really promising, and i learned a long time ago not to fall in love with potential.
